8-16 Year Old Winter Clinic

What is the winter clinic?

The HBQVB winter clinic is a winter workout designed to improve and maintain all aspects of the game including hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, speed, agility and physical & mental conditioning. The Clincs will run for 5 consecutive Saturdays or Sundays. The cost of the 5 week clinic is $185.00 for Session 1 (Nov-Dec 2018). Session 2 (Jan-Feb 2019) will have the same 5 consecutive Saturdays and Sundays, but new for this year will be adding two baseball bootcamp days. They will be February 17th-18th & 24th-25th. The boot camp is an additional charge and will require pre-registration to ensure a spot. The clinics includes a T-Shirt, Player Assessment, Instruction by quality, experienced and professional college Coaches and players.

The clinic is set up as ten week program that is broken up into two seperate sessions. Session 1 is aimed at the development of skills. Small groups, high reps. Session 2 is aimed at the application of baseball skills in simulated situations with the newly added baseball bootcamp for an additional two weeks.

When is it?

You can choose from either Saturday or Sundays Clinic

Saturday - Begins Nov. 10th, 2018 (5pm-6:30pm) - Queensborough Comm College
Sundays - Begins Nov. 11th, 2018 (4pm-5:30pm) - Queensborough Comm College

Where is the winter clinic being held?

The Winter Clinic will be held at the Queensborough Community College gymnasium.Click Here For Directions!!!

When you get to the school the RFK Building (gymnasium) is located on Kenilworth dr. past the security guards booth

Punctuality is important to ensure the children can receive the best workouts possible.

Who are the instructors?

During the clinic, you will meet a variety of different coaches. This includes QCC College head coach Roger Mischel and QCC assistant coaches along with College players, college pitching and fielding coaches, as well as other local High School and College professional coaches.

What can I expect during clinic and what will I need?

You can expect to continue to learn new aspects of the game, be challenged on your current skill levels, improve in areas and work hard.

You will need your glove, bat, sneakers, loose clothing and a drink. Water fountains are available, but it is always best to bring a personal drink. Most important, you will need a hard working attitude and a desire to learn and grow as a baseball player.
