It is truly amazing that this was all built and developed by VOLUNTEERS for kids! In 1954, when HBQVB started... there was not a single blade of grass on this site. It took 60 years, the army engineers, local politicians and MILLIONS of volunteers hours to get this done! Thank you to everyone past, present and future for making it possible for us to celebrate 60 years of operation this year!!
